I wonder if my 13-year-old self would be disappointed, too.
I'm afraid she might be. I'm 18 and I'm still a virgin, I've never had a serious boyfriend, I haven't been published yet except for once, I've never had the lead in a play.
Then again she might be surprised at how things have turned out. I'm not bored.
I have the exact same thoughts... Not so much on the poo thing, but the rest I can relate to... I also wonder what men feel when having sexual encounters... What the pressure even feels like... What it feels like to pee and cum through the same tube...
What they think about during and after... I wonder if they ever stare at the ceiling and notice how many cracks are in the paint and have the mad urge to balance their checkbooks.... or think of things they would rather be doing.
On encountering a younger version of yourself. I think it's hard to imagine what we will be when we are young, even hard to imagine where we will be 5-10 years from now. So much can change in a year, and at the same time, they fly by so quickly. I think I would be impressed with my adult self only because young kids often look up to anyone who is older or taller. I am jealous of my younger self for having so much potential and energy. And of course being so active and much thinner...
I would have put myself into hypno-therapy to help me avoid hagendaz in the future.... and tried so much harder at everything, and at the same time, right now, I have no such desire to work any harder than I have to...
I dont feel like you should go out of your way to validate your life with crazy experiences, though they help when writing any book. All I can say, is take the road less traveled, try new things... Visit new places, and never skydive with a guy named "Pancake".
